130 years of Martell in Malaysia

Get ready for a year-long celebration by Martell, which is celebrating its 130-year history in Malaysia. 

Kicking it off is an interactive, multi-sensory, AI-enabled pop-up experience for the whole month of December, 10 am to 10 pm daily, at the concourse of  Pavilion Bukit Jalil. 

 

The pop up promises an immersive journey through Martell's history in Malaysia (did you know that they first landed in Penang?) with a few satellite events that complement the journey. Stop by a "spin the wheel" game at Food Merchant for a chance to win exclusive merchandise. Test your cognac knowledge at Magnum Wines with a fun quiz and get complimentary gift for your participation. Enjoy a glass of Martell Cordon Bleu or a coffee-infused Martell Noblige cocktail at The Chamber Pavilion.

The adventure ends with an exhibit of Les Remarquables de Martell - Edition Laurentine Perilhou, Martell’s RM5 million limited edition cognac masterpiece.  It is crafted by renowned French artist Laurentine Périlhou, who has collaborated with luxury brands like Hermès, JP Gaultier, Lanvin, and Balmain. Embellished with intricate golden threaded macrame, diamond and sapphire gems; the bottle houses Martell's single cru eaux-de-vie from its 70-year-aged Private Reserve.

At the pop up, you can also catch a preview of Martell’s upcoming 2024 and Chinese New Year launches and limited editions, including the Martell Single Cru Collection and the L'Or de Jean Martell Zodiac Collection’s Assemblage du Dragon.

 

In conjunction with celebrating its 130 years of being in Malaysia, the 130 Years in Malaysia Martell Cordon Bleu limited edition release bottle designed by Malaysian textile artist Marcos Kueh has also been launched. Limited to only 130 bottles, the design captures Martell's spirit and the Malaysia culture of the past, the present and the future. 

Priced at at RM1,046 (40% abv, 700ml), it can be acquired at The Food Merchant, The Chamber, and Magnum Wines & Spirits in Pavilion Bukit Jalil until 1 Jan 2024, while stocks last. Martell will also gift 4 bottles Marcos Kueh-designed Martell Cordon Bleu to 4 lucky winners!
